In order to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana, you’ll need a medical license from the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners (LSBME). Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have no felony convictions, and possess a valid Controlled Dangerous Substances permit. The application fee for MD/DO licensure is $382.00.
